The Pray24 weekend is scheduled for June 1 & 2. Prayer will begin Friday, June 1 at 6 PM, with Pray24 worship during Fire Dwellers at 7:30, and continue on through to Saturday, June 2 at 6 PM. As intercessors we reach in and touch the Heart of God each time we join together to pray for the needs of others and our church family. I'm praying with expectation that this is a time when we will see His Glory Shine on His people in this place!
News: May 20
1. Remember that Healing Ministry Teams are ready and available for you to come have prayer for healing during the 11 a.m. service on Sunday morning in the church office.2. Support the Care Net Pregnancy Center through Baby Bottle Blessing. The local center supports families in situations of unplanned pregnancies. Consider participating in their fundraiser by taking a baby bottle, filling it with coins and then returning it to church by Father's Day. Baby bottles are available in the foyer.
3. Pre-Service Prayer is held every Sunday beginning at 8:30 am in Room 13. All are encouraged to participate as covering prayer is offered for all aspects of Sunday's service: Worship, Sermon, Prophetic Art, Prophetic Words, Sunday School, Healing Room, etc. To date this has been an amazing time of prayer, as we see the Holy Spirit move during both the 10 and 11 am services. Please feel free to join any time until 9:50 am each Sunday as we seek the Holy Spirit's presence and leadership of Sunday.
4. On Tuesday evenings, Pastor Mike Ackerbauer and Elliot Toman are facilitating a six-week series of classes called Basic Biblical Perspectives. These classes will cover foundational Christian beliefs and will be accompanied by a unique workbook created here at Changepoint. The topics include the Bible, Creation, Sin, Jesus and Salvation, and are designed to be insightful for new Christians and challenging for experienced ones. The classes will meet at 7 p.m. in Room 11 and childcare will be provided.
5. Mark your calendar for the Pray24 event starting on Friday, June 1, at 6:00 p.m., including a Pray24 worship at Fire Dwellers that night at 7:30 p.m. and continuing through Saturday, June 2. Please join in this 24 hours of prayer by signing up for a time slot at church on Sunday.
6. In the middle of June a Ladies Bible Study will begin. The topic is James: Mercy Triumphs, a Beth Moore DVD study with Diedre Brassard facilitating. If you plan to come, please sign up in the foyer on Sunday.
7. Everyone is invited to the All Church Prayer Meeting, which meets every Monday evening at 7 p.m. in room 13.
